I also just caught up on all your other news (have been in exam week hell) and I am SO sorry about your cat. I have never had a pet, but I've seen friends lose theirs and it seems almost like they are losing a family member when it happens. Which i guess makes sense since a pet is such a huge part of your life for so long.
